The Best Fall Beer Can Designs of 2024
From spooky stouts to Oktoberfest classics, these cans are serving up serious autumn vibes.
I made a trip to ABC Liquor over the weekend, and while I’m not a big drinker, I love browsing their craft beer, rum, whiskey, and gin selections. There’s just something about the branding, the packaging, and the care that goes into craft drinks that draws me in.
And honestly, there’s no better time to check out the shelves than when the fall and winter brews start rolling in. It’s not just pumpkin beers either—you’ve got the Oktoberfest lineup like Festbier, Märzens, dunkels, and brown ales. Here’s a few that stood out to me:
1. All Hallows Treat – Ommegang Brewery
This Imperial Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout sounds rich and delicious, definitely one for sipping. And those graphics? Total 90s Halloween vibes. I’m here for it.
2. Oktoberfest Märzen – Paulaner
The artwork isn’t anything to write home about, but it’s got that authentic fall and Oktoberfest feel. Classic, solid beer.
3. Oktoberfest – Erdinger
Another German classic. The artwork is simple, but it makes you want to crack one open and pretend you’re in Munich. I’ve tried this brewery before, and they never disappoint.
4. The Lantern Imperial Pumpkin Ale – Florida Avenue Brewing
This can really caught my eye—the design has that cool, almost vintage Halloween feel. Definitely a standout on the shelf.
5. Pumpkin Pack – Elysian Brewing
I see this pack every year but haven’t tried it yet. The designs are cool, but what really got me was learning that Elysian hosts a pumpkin festival each year and they’re known for being the originators of the Imperial Pumpkin Stout. They even tap giant pumpkins filled with beer at the festival! I’m grabbing a pack this year, no question.
6. Warlock & Pumking – Southern Tier Brewing
These two have a special place in my heart. I first discovered them with my best friend back when we lived in Dunedin, Florida, at a spot called House of Beer. We spotted a purple pumpkin tap handle one day and tried this dark pumpkin beer called Warlock. It was a game-changer—warm pumpkin pie notes, a bit of chocolate sweetness, and just so much more flavor than your average pumpkin ale. Instant favorite.
Did a quick scroll on Instagram afterward and found a few other cool designs. If I missed any of your go-to fall brews, drop them in the comments!
